This course focuses on medication management and administration, which are primary concerns in assisted living medication procedures and how they are managed. This course is specifically designed for adult family homes.

AUDIENCE: Assisted Living Staff, House Managers, Administrators
OBJECTIVES:
- Discern the relationship between medication and medication management
- Discover the elements involved in the prescription of medication
- Distinguish their roles and responsibilities when administering medication to residents
- Identify the documentation and coordination needs to support medication management
- Determine essential aspects of managing resident medication
- Understand their roles and responsibilities in the medication management process
COURSE FORMAT: This course is a recorded, asynchronous, self-paced, online interactive training, with no access time limit or due date to complete it once enrolled. In addition to the record presentation, additional resources and handouts are made available inside the course.
