Checkout Instructions

When choosing courses and checking out, you must use the learner's name and their email address in the checkout page.  If you are a company purchasing courses for your employees, each employee will need their own/a unique email address in order to be registered.


 

When will my employee(s) be registered after I sign them up for the online courses?  

You (or your employees) will be registered within 24-48 business hours.

How does online registration work?   

After payment is received, you (or your employees) will receive an email with login information.

Oh, no!  I can't view the course material.  What's wrong?

The course portal works best with Google Chrome.  While others browser are acceptable, please do not use Internet Explorer and it is not compatible with our learning management system.  Ensure that you have a stable internet connection.  You can also try to clear your cookies and cache in your browser.

How long do my employees have to finish the online courses?  

Employees have six (6) months from the date of registration by Deer Path Academy to finish the courses. After one year, their account will become inactive, and additional charges may apply.

Are online courses self-paced?  

Yes, the employees work at their own pace.

May I purchase one course for numerous employees if they work together?  

No, you must purchase a course for each employee/learner for those whom you wish to receive a certificate.

Do I get a certificate of completion?

Yes, once you have completed the entire course, including passing the final exam and course review, a certificate of completion will be available for you to download and print via PDF in your course portal.

What are the online Course Packs? 

The CBRF Course Pack is all-inclusive and includes seven courses needed to work in a CBRF (all-employee and task-specific training).  The AFH Course Pack is all-inclusive and includes eight courses needed to work in an Adult Family Home (a total of 17 hours).  You receive the Course Packs for $50 less than the total of all courses separately.

I just purchased training and realized I don't need it.  May I get a refund?

We understand that things happen.  As long as you haven't yet logged in, yes, of course; however, because we are charged fees for credit card usage, your refund will be the full amount minus 5% of the total to cover the fees we incurred during the transaction.

Do you offer discounts in addition to the Course Pack and Super Pack?

Yes!  For facilities that plan to purchase in bulk or have a lot of employees to train, we do offer significant discounts specific to the learner/company.  Please email us your request, and we will quote you.
