This course provides the learner with a foundation of crisis management by identifying elements of crisis, analyzing the four stages and responding approaches and communication, understanding effective conflict resolution techniques and tools to support clients before, during, and after a crisis, and understanding the relationships between compassion fatigue and rational detachment.
