Practicing standard precautions to minimize disease transmission is critical to keeping ourselves and our residents safe. We will focus on standard precautions and follow all appropriate infection control procedures to prevent transmitting communicable diseases and bloodborne infections. We will also focus on how exposure controls and personal protective equipment are used to prevent the transmission of bloodborne infections, as well as a review of the DHS training requirements for registered trainers. 2 Hours
