RESIDENT RIGHTS & THE GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
In this course, you will learn the resident rights and related issues and be able to implement the grievance procedure. You will begin by understanding the guidelines and requirements, listing the rights of residents in your facility, identifying the desired caregiver attitudes, and outlining your roles and responsibilities as a caregiver (advocacy).

OBJECTIVES:
- Recognize the core principles that are important for caring for residents
- Distinguish the rights residents have in a caretaking facility
- Understand the techniques and procedures used by facilities to uphold resident rights
- Identify the responsibilities of caregivers in regard to resident rights
COURSE FORMAT: This course is a recorded, asynchronous, self-paced, online interactive training, with no access time limit or due date to complete it once enrolled. In addition to the record presentation, additional resources and handouts are made available inside the course.
